Using the ACQ-OP In Practice

The ACQ-OP results can be used as powerful evidence to help you:
- Plan interventions that account for the person’s perspective and the areas of discrepancy and/or agreement between what you observed and what the person reported
- Support clinical reasoning on the person’s potential to improve his or her quality of ADL task performance
- Advocate for needed occupational therapy services and/or supports for the person
- Communicate the unique role of occupational therapy
